The
proposal submitted by VMS won the Design Competition. VMS designed this 60,000 capacity stadium
with a view to paying tribute to the rich regional context.
After Eden Gardens this is the prime feather
in the cap, adding laurels to the cap of achievements.
We won the design competition and bagged the
project.
It is the matter of immense pride and pleasure
for the family of VMS.
Strong cost controls
were implemented to prevent cost overruns typical in such projects. The design
is inclusive, serving all stakeholders - spectators, players, media and
administration - equally. The stadium conforms and exceeds best practices and
ICC requirements.
